mia-tools software package provides Command line tools for gray scale image processing, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install mia-tools
mia-tools is installed in your system.
Make ensure the mia-tools package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep mia-tools *
You will get with mia-tools package name, version, architecture and description in a table
